Helen Fossey

"Helen takes time to listen to my concerns, she shows empathy & understanding & will always do the best for her clients."

Helen graduated from the University of Bristol in 1999, going on to complete post graduate surgical exams from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2002.

In 20 years since qualifying, Helen has worked in a variety of NHS and private settings, splitting her career between general practice, hospital (teaching students in oral surgery and periodontology clinics) and sedation clinics. She has extensive experience in difficult or surgical extractions and treating patients under intravenous sedation.

Helen is passionate about delivering excellent care to her patients, understanding their needs and delivering them in a holistic and patient-based manner. As the daughter of a pharmacist, she was brought up to listen and to look after people, believing that every patient should receive care that is pain-free and as gentle as possible.

More recently, Helen has worked solely in private practice, focusing on delivering high quality general dentistry, aesthetic alternatives, bleaching and veneers whilst always keeping patients relaxed and comfortable.

Away from the surgery, Helen is a keen swimmer and all round fitness fanatic. As a busy, devoted Mum, she has nutrition at her core and is often found talking at length about healthy eating and reduced sugar alternatives.

"Helen saw my Mum who has Alzheimer’s and was fantastic with her."
